Wisdom

Today, I want to talk about the incredible value of wisdom and how it ties into God's guidance.

To have wisdom is to embrace God's direction in our lives. He will never lead us astray. It's so important to pray for wisdom and

understanding before making any decisions.

When you're at a crossroads, you must seek wisdom. Remember, God's instructions are more valuable and precious than any silver or gold you could ever find.

When faced with choices, weigh your options carefully. One way to apply God's wisdom is by comparing your choices to His character and what He stands for. But the only way to do this effectively is by reading the Bible. If any option requires you to lie, you can be sure it's not from God. He detests a lying tongue, so He would never lead you down a path that requires dishonesty. He only guides us in the way of righteousness, as stated in Proverbs 8:6-8.

Your Homework:

Daily Bible Reading: Start by reading your Bible once a day. As you become consistent, gradually increase your reading time.

Morning Routine: Before touching your phone, pray and thank God for waking you up and ask for His protection. Then, read at least one chapter from the Bible.

Take Notes: As you read, take notes on anything that stands out-whether it's about a person, place, event, or something about God.

Write it down.

Apply What You Learn: Once you learn something, like how we are supposed to represent God, apply it to your daily life. Pray for consistency, discipline, and strength.

Remember, this journey is not meant to be walked alone. Lean on our Heavenly Father.

He will help you every step of the way. As Philippians 4:13 says, "For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength."

Here are some verses to reflect on:

Proverbs 8:6 & 8 (NLT): "Listen to me! For I have important things to tell you. Everything I say is right... My advice is wholesome. There is nothing devious or crooked in it."

Proverbs 8:9-11 (NLT): "My words are plain to anyone with understanding, clear to those with knowledge. Choose my instruction rather than silver, and knowledge rather than pure gold. For wisdom is far more valuable than rubies. Nothing you desire can compare with it."

Proverbs 8:13 (NLT): "All who fear the Lord will hate evil. Therefore, I hate pride and arrogance, corruption and perverse speech."

Proverbs 9:10-11 (NLT): "Fear of the Lord is the foundation of wisdom. Knowledge of the Holy One results in good judgment. Wisdom will multiply your days and add years to your life."

Philippians 4:13 (NLT): "For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength."
