The Vessel

When God fulfills His promises, be sure to give Him all the glory and praise. Acknowledge that it is His work, not man's. We are merely vessels for His divine purpose. God uses His children to deliver messages and guide us, but always remember that it is for His glory. He works through us to accomplish His will.

A lot of the times, we don't even realize that we idolize the vessel that God chose to use. This is a reminder that you are to have NO idols-not statues, not family members, not friends, not objects, not celebrities. Nothing is to be an idol in your life! Repent right now and apologize to God for idolizing anything or anyone. He will forgive you! Remember, He is our Father, a Father who corrects us as well as loves us.

"That is why I told you what would happen; I told you beforehand what I was going to do. Then you could never say, 'My idols did it. My wooden image and metal god commanded it to happen." Isaiah 48:5
