Surrendering to the unknown

Family, let's take a moment to highlight a powerful part of prayer—one that Jesus Himself embraced and one that we must weave into our daily walk with God.

In Matthew 26:39, we see Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane, wrestling with the weight of what was to come. Yet, in His surrender, He showed us the way: "My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will." -Matthew 26:39, ESV

He didn't just speak of faith—He lived it. He showed us that surrendering to God's will isn't just an act of obedience; it's an act of trust, of courage, of fully stepping into the perfect plan the Father has laid before us.

Praying for God’s will to be done is not just a suggestion—it’s essential. When we surrender our desires, uncertainties, and fears to Him, we position ourselves exactly where He wants us to be—protected, purposeful, and walking in divine alignment. Yes, it can be an uncomfortable prayer, because it requires us to let go of control and embrace the unknown. But here’s the truth: God’s will is the safest place to be. When we pray, “Lord, Your will, not mine,” we are not losing anything—we are gaining everything. We are stepping into His perfect purpose, His divine protection, and right standing with Him.

So today, let's pray boldly: Father, let Your will be done in my life. No matter what it looks like, no matter where it leads, I trust You. In Jesus name we pray, amen!

And most importantly—don’t just ask for His will; surrender to it. Ask the Lord to make His will heavy on your heart so that you don’t fight against it but fully embrace it. Pray that He teaches you, that He leads you, and that He strengthens you to walk in obedience. True surrender isn’t passive—it’s bold, it’s active, and it’s the most powerful step you can take toward living out your God-given purpose.

I pray you all apply this to your daily prayer and continue to live Boldly for the Lord!

Love ya!
