Prayer

Hey family!

Let's talk about the importance of prayer and how to pray effectively. If you struggle with prayer or aren't sure how to start, here's a simple blueprint for you.

First, find scriptures for protection. Go to Google and search for "Scriptures for protection." Write these verses down in a notebook or journal dedicated to prayer. If you don't have one, get a "prayer journal" specifically for this purpose.

Next, use your Bible to look up each verse before writing it down. If you don't have a physical Bible, you can find one on Amazon for as low as $9.00. In the meantime, use a free Bible app on your phone. Always verify the scriptures you find online by checking them in your Bible. Make it a habit to verify every scripture you hear or read. When someone says, "The Bible says XYZ," kindly ask them for the specific scripture and read it for yourself. This ensures you're always grounded in the truth.

After verifying scriptures for protection, expand your list by looking up verses for obedience, guidance, the character of Christ, deliverance, and any other areas you feel led to pray about. Write these down in your prayer journal.

When you pray, incorporate these scriptures.

For example, you might say, "Father, in Isaiah 54:17. You said the weapon will form but it will not prosper. Please do not allow the weapons formed against me and my family to prosper.

Strike them down the moment they form! In Yeshua's name, I pray, Amen." Continue this process with each scripture.

Remember to pray for your family members who are nonbelievers. Ask God to give them

an encounter with Him that will lead them to believe in Him, dedicate their lives to Him, and be obedient to His word. Stay consistent and keep praying. Writing your prayers down helps you keep track of the prayers God has answered. I hope this helps strengthen someone's prayer life. If you already do this, take it as a sign to keep going!

If you have your own prayer blueprint, feel free to share it in the comments below.

I love you guys, but Jesus loves you more!
