God's Loving Correction
Share
Hey there, family!
You know, sometimes I just marvel at how much God loves us, especially when He corrects us. It's like, "Wow, He loves little ole me that much?" Proverbs 3:11-12 reminds us not to get upset when He corrects us because it's a sign of His love. Just like how I correct my kids out of love to keep them on the right path, God does the same for us. He points out our mistakes, explains why they're wrong, and then guides us back on track.
Building a relationship with Him is so crucial.
God speaks to us, but we need to learn to recognize His voice amidst all the noise. This comes from spending time with Him and diving into His Word daily- our daily bread. Think about it: we eat three meals a day, right?
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner. So, why not read a chapter of the Bible before each meal? It's about having a relationship with Him every day, not just on Sundays.
If you're struggling to hear His voice, start here.
I hope this encourages you to spend more time with God. He's our Father, and just like any loving parent, He wants to hear from us regularly. He loves us and wants to guide us every step of the way. Remember, we're not meant to do this alone!
Proverbs 3:11-12: "My son, do not despise the Lord's discipline, and do not resent his rebuke, because the Lord disciplines those he loves, as a father the son he delights in."
