An encounter with the Lord

Hey Family,

In 2 Chronicles 33, Manasseh was doing things that were evil in God's eyes. He was creating statues and making sacrifices unto them as well as worshiping them. He wasn't just doing this alone; he was also encouraging his children to participate as well, leading another generation down the wrong path. In 2

Chronicles 33:10, the Lord spoke to Manasseh and his children, but they didn't listen. God gave Manasseh another opportunity to be obedient. In 2 Chronicles 33:11 (KJV), it says,

"Wherefore the Lord brought upon them the captains of the host of the king of Assyria, which took Manasseh among the thorns, and bound him with fetters, and carried him to Babylon." After this encounter with God, Manasseh destroyed all idols and turned away from them. He turned to God and was obedient to the Lord from that day forward. Sometimes, people need their own personal encounter with God to develop a true relationship with Him and to be obedient to His will and His word. So today, let's pray for our family and friends, asking God to give them a personal encounter that will not only make them believe in Him but also lead them to obedience and surrender to His will for their lives.

Heavenly Father, we come to You right now to say thank You for waking us up this morning.

Thank You for the breath in our lungs, for without You, this is not possible. Thank You for giving us another day and another opportunity to surrender to You and be obedient to You. I repent for not being as obedient as I should be and for thinking that my way is better than Yours.

Lord, I ask that You give me an encounter with You that will lead me to full obedience and alignment with Your will for my life. I also ask that You give -_ an encounter with You that will lead them to be obedient and to surrender to Your will for their lives. Lord, I thank You for lending me Your ear and for answering my prayers. I understand that without You, I am nothing, but with You, I have everything.

Thank You, Heavenly Father, for everything You've done for me and everything You're going to do. I love You so much! In Yeshuas mighty name, I will forever and always pray, Amen!
